How about the interior surface of the brake master cylinder? Would you just wet it down with Castro LMA brake fluid?

Were I putting an MC aside for future use after rebuild I would close off all the openings.
Remove the reservoir cap. Stretch Saran wrap over the top and refit the cap.
For British MCs, take clean/new 3/8-24 bolts and wrap Teflon tape on their threads. Fit the tape covered bolts to the ports in the MC.
If this was a later car with metric ports I would obviously find metric bolts to use as plugs.

After re-build, what's the best way to preserve a brake or clutch master cylinder for storage?
