DARN... I KNEW there was something I forgot to do during my last plug check. (it is tough when OCD overlaps with ADD...)

Best thing I've read here in quite some time.

1 to say that if you had a VTEC, you wouldn't be needing to change the spark plugs.

Bur FIRST...the spark plug must really WANT to change, otherwise the whole exercise is just a waste of time. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to solving it.

1 to start a very lengthy discussion about that Champion spark plug being incorrectly labeled and masquerading as an NGK.

1 to ask where they can buy spark plugs for their Mini, or if anyone has any they would like to sell. (On the Mini Mania website forum)

Repurposed from a Facebook post...

How many MiniMania forum members does it take to change a spark plug?

1  to change the spark plug and post that the spark plug has been changed.

6  to comment that they too have changed spark plugs.

1  to request help with changing a spark plug.

3  to remind the poster to fill out his profile because someone nearby might be able to help.

3  to complain that this is a Mini forum and posters should take this discussion to a spark plug forum.

4  to defend the spark plug posts as relevant because our Minis need spark plugs too.

1  to post a link to a spark plug website.

3  to complain that the link is broken.

1  to post a working spark plug link.

3  to complain about poor quality Chinese spark plugs.

1  to ask for spark plug recommendations for his MINI.

3  to remind the MINI poster that this is a classic Mini forum.

4  to suggest that posters check the spark plug FAQ page before posting.

1  to ask what a FAQ is.

1  member with OCD to claim that he indexes his spark plugs so that the NGK logo can be read from the front of the car.

1  Werewolf to remind us he’s been a certified dealer for over 40 years and that’s it’s illegal to import spark plugs less than 25 years old.

1  Specialist to claim that his Mini runs better without spark plugs. And…

1  lurker to respond to the spark plug thread 6 months later and start it all over again.
