I own a Paceman, and while I agree that it doesn't have the beauty of the first generation hatches, it isn't nearly as bloated as the third generation Countryman model, or even the Clubman. It is the perfect size for me, as I use it for my winter driver, and also drive it when it is raining at other times of the year. I put a beefed up rear anti-sway bar on it, and changed out the stock heavy wheels with lighter aftermarkets, and I have to say the handling is better than you'd expect for a car of its size. No offense taken with those who hate its looks, by the way! For the record, my classic is my favorite of my three cars to drive.

There's one in my city. Not my favorite modern MINI. I find every year they get bigger and bigger. At what point do we start calling them MAXI's?

(and this is from a guy who has 2 modern MINI's and one Classic!)

I've never seen one of these before.
This morning I found myself beside one in Regina.
I had to follow at 3/4 angle, and drive beside this thing for blocks.
I swear, I've not seen an uglier vehicle since the Rendezvous.
What are these BMW people thinking?  I didn't even think to look at the driver....perhaps avoiding eye contact and have them think I was admiring...lol
