And the biggest problem is BMW parts are expensive AND poor quality. It took a mechanic friend of mine three tries to get a certain BMW part that didn't throw a code when he rebuilt the engine.

Good luck with your repairs.

Try a used one from pick and pull and have your buddy check it out before use..............And check the rest of the car carefully thats a lack of service issue that caused the SC to grenade like that................

Unfortunately, we currently do not have a source for replacement gears in the supercharger.....

Sorry, I don't know much about new MINIS or their superchargers. If by 'gears behind the water pump you mean the rotor pack, I'm guessing if you are that deep into replacing parts, a new or rebuilt supercharger would be cheaper and more reliable. Ken at Minimania might be able to help you once he gets to work. He's in California, so that might be after 9am Pacific time, or around 3 hours or so from now.

Welcome to the forum, Ryan. To get answers, you need to tell what year and model your MINI Cooper is.

Also, you should be aware that most of us here are owners of the original (real!) classic Minis built before BMW started making the new version. Our host supports both old Minis and new "BINIs".

hey guys, names ryan from northern california. i bought my first cooper a few months ago. the bearings went out in the Supercharger and the two gears got shredded behind the water pump. (dry as a bone t00) im having a buddy put in new bearings and gears. Does anyone know where i can find those two gears that mount up behind the WP? and which bearing kit do you suggest i buy?
much thanks
