Themini looks real good, much better than l remember it, that shop must have a great detailer on staff

The only disappointing feature is the grey cloth seats and door cards, if they were retrimed in a black vinyl with green piping then it would sure look sharp

New trick: (for me anyway): If I copy and paste an address into this editor, then hit return, it now makes it an active link. No need for me to use the 'link' dialog box. (Windows 10, Firefox browser, latest update)

Well, what a small mini, mini world we live in

As it turns out the mini Darren is interested in was owned by Roger Tipple previously

He sold it to a dealer who then resold it to Seven Speed Motors a year or so ago

So Darren is now in Rogers' capable hands, just how weird is this??

Looking at the pictures it is a respray. The mirrors are  rough and have been painted to match the car.
No pictures of under the bonnet or in the trunk. The seats have been shampooed  but they are well worn. Looks like the drivers and passengers seats were swapped as the left seat is in worse shape. The grille is has been replaced....Japan Mini import? Twice the price of buying one yourself and importing it.
My opinion...

Darren:

I recommend that Roger Tipple, Jeff Fenwick & Tony Fox all 3, collectively look at this car

They are all members of the BSCC of Canada, they live in Burlington Ont, a mere 5 miles from that Dealership

I will ask them for their help, they are all great mini types, except Tony and he is Brit car all the way with a penchant for Triumph Stags

They should be able to look at it on Saturday

Hi everybody. We had our first dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Anouther winter starts. Tis’ the beginning of winter mini projects for many of us in the northern latitudes. But I still have to get a mini to tool around with and tweak during the frosty days ahead. The reason I am asking if any forum members live in Oakville is that I would ask that person to check-out a mini at a car dealership located there. The dealership is named Seven Speed Motors and they have a delicious looking JDM classic mini in there showroom. I first spotted the car advertisement at least 6 months ago, and it looks cherry. It looks very appealing to me. BRG with black and white checkerboard roof decal. The price seems fair to me if the car is as good as it appears in the add. I have talked to one salesman on the phone. I just asked him a few preliminary questions, but I think I will buy it if it checks out good. If anyone can check this mini out for me I would be very greatful. The car is located indoors so it shouldn’t be unpleasant to look at it. Seven Speed Motors is located at 1047 North service road east. I also invite fellow members to check out the internet add for the car and give opinions. I don’t know how to make links to the site yet, but it is easy to find by typing Seven Speed Motors into your search engine. Personally , I think it looks excellent, but it is impossible to pass good judgment using only pictures on an iPad. I applaud the company for providing a lot of pictures, at the very least. I hope you all are having a great day. Thanks from Darren and Lupin ?????????
