I am not sure if they do Meb would probably know as he just sold his S there. I know Barnfinds does and i have heard so do the big auctions.

Someone said they had talked to the seller and he had said it was sold. I don't know if when you list with BaT they have an exclusive listing barring you from selling it elsewhere. It may have been a non reserve auction and was not getting close to the money he wanted as it was listed before on MM for $14k and the seller had it listed this time for $18k, with the bids only in the $6k range and 3 days to go he may have got cold feet who knows.

Was anyone here following that white MkI on Bring a Trailer last week.
Apparantly there was some issue with the car and seller. The car was pulled and the seller banned.
"After a discussion with the seller of this vehicle, it has become clear that he does not plan to follow through with his commitment to sell the car to the winning bidder. We do not tolerate such activity from sellers, so we are unfortunately forced to cancel this auction. The seller will no longer be allowed to participate on BaT in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience.-BaT"
