Big Al, Several things :1.  I hope to BUY nice parts at MME to bring back to the UK. 2. I don't drink so you would not have seen me drunk in the car park. 3. Yes it was hot !

Nick:

Sorry about that, that was Billy Cox that was drunk in the parking lot @ 10:00AM

In his tight red running shorts as l remember, sitting beside a mini with a full case of Red Stripes on ice

In fact that was the first time l met the Legend or "Mouth from the South " as he is now known

All l really Remember about Seekonk MA was the A/C went out in the host hotel and was It HOT !!!

But l did sell my only (first) mini , a van at that event and never looked back, even after 450 of them going thru my doors

Tony the specialist

No probs, just don't bother showing up at MM East with your pink scooter

Nick, any chance you could bring a bag of good quality used MK 1 parts with you. ??

Flights booked ! Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. I am bringing 2 of the guys who worked for me at Minibitz in Sheffield. It will be the first MME for both of them. MY first was 1996 Seekonk, and I still see friends I first met there.

Many thanks, Deb. I now have made contact and had a reply from Lorene. It looks like we will be there in July. Excited already. I hope there will be loads of classic Minis there.

Their message says website up and running but it isn't. I'm wanting to attend and bring a couple of friends from the UK but I am reluctant to book flights at over £450 each until I know it's on and where it is exactly. For several months the message says that they are "negotiating with the host hotel". That's fine but how long does it take ? Can anyone advise me please ?
