I probably have one up here in Canada. Just waiting to see if you fine one closer to home.

posted...blank. Edited...blank. Now trying text formatting...we shall see. My question was how to tell the different C washers apart.

I'm rebuilding my 1962 848cc engine and accidentally broke the c-ring that holds the primary gear in place. It's the early engine with the pre-"Deva" oil-fed bush primary gear and slightly smaller crank (1 3/8" instead of 1 1/2") ... also, on these, there's no backing ring between the c-ring and gear. Part number is 2A3597
I have a later c-ring (22A319) but it's loose on the crank and I bet the flywheel won't fit either.
I've combed the web; a couple of places list the older part, but nobody has one and probably hasn't for years.
Anyone out there that may have one lying around?
