I'm down to what? Eleven Minis, now. I've often said, if I had to sell 10, I'd keep the Moke.

For those who may be concerned that we will be Moke - less in the future, Mark will never let Michele go.

Yea, we won't be Mokeless, just back to the same one I have been drivng since 86.  It is doing just fine and gets all the fun anyway as we hardly ever drive any other LBC in the garage.

Well deserved beautiful restoration Mark and Sarah.

Well, here are the results of our Moke’s trip to Hilton Head Concours: we came in 2nd in the Micro Car class.  There were 9 cars in the class, 7 competing and 2 owned by the Lane Museum in Nashville.  It was an honor to be invited and a thrill to place at all.  The winner of the class was a BMW 600 (Isetta with a back door/back seat) that was professionally restored.  The big news of the day occurred in another class where an Almond Green 1071S restored by Nick Upton (NorCal area) won best of class beating two Rolls Royces and a Jag MKV among other fantastic sedans.  First time in the history of this show that a Mini had won best of class.  It was literally David vs. Goliath.  The restoration of that S made my Moke look sick.  We got to parade up to the grand stand and we were stuck for about 40 minutes in line behind a Ferrari that was running rich.  Rich took on a different meaning when the MC announced that a car just like that one sold for $24MM earlier this year.  Suddenly I felt honored to be breathing his fumes.  We had some inquiries for the Moke and Sarah and I are about to let it go, time to move on to something else and let this Moke make someone else happy.  We would again like to thank Dr. Mini for the rims the bias ply tires sat on and Chuck Heleker for the jack and tools, those made a difference to the judges.
