Cowboylogic, after using my logic i came to a conclusion that the green circle is applicable only when you are using a laptop or desktop, and sir Dan’s tutorial pic is the correct precdure, however if you are using an iphone to upload pics, nope u cannot, you need to use a third party host, and so far only Dropbox apps is the one available that is free, all others like photobucket and flickr you need yo pay about $398 a year to use their service.

Yep. Thanks onetim. I’ve exhausted the useable space in my Rambled Access Memory. I think it is time for me to step away from the IPad.... All work & no pictures make Derwood a tad tired.... All work & no pictures make Derwood a tad tired.... All work & no pictures make Derwood a tad tired.... All work & no pictures make Derwood think about his favourite watering hole...

I’ll be back ! Derwood ( Lupin is in no way, shape, or form responsible for Derwoods lack of photo success and agrees with Derwood that the watering hole is a good place for me to go )

Lupin knows what is best for Derwood. I’m off like that 80’s band ( A Flock of Seagulls ). Purrhaps tommorow will be more successful ????????????????

Wait let me give you a tip, because when it comes to any kind of  "insertion" i'm the champion... Here's the tip , if you are using an iphone, the picture in the library is too large amd wont take it, all you have to do is to get a screen shot of the original picture in your library then post the screen shot one( not the original) thats how to reduce the size....

Type what you want here...
Drag and drop an image file (from your desktop or a folder)
onto the big green dot to the left.
It processes the image and then shows you a preview (see the image I just added).
I don't think the image file can be open when you copy it.... not sure.
lastly click "Submit Post".

Sounds like you are doing it the right ways. If you click in the box then find the image you want and double click on it.

Hello ...new member.  I have been trying to post a few photos into a new topic so I might have some help identifying what year a particular mini I'm looking at might me.  The photos are 640x480; I have tried to drop them into the dealy in the top left corner; I have clicked on same dealy and directed to local file on my PC-no joy.  Is it me??   Darrell
