Oh Alex..... you poked it

So uhm, i saw someone post something about Vtecs, so i came here to my "little space" to make some comments, this is where i write my fearless forecast, i don't want to comment over there and eventually be gange'd up. the Vtec kit cost about $2500 and the engine cost about 8grand... The Bad Obssession guys btw made this thing called Project Binky where they stripped off an MK1 and slap a 4 wheel drive engine, very nice , the production has been going on for a while, they already have about 11 to 12 episodes but guess what? nobody has seen this so called 4wd mini in action, it still sitting in their garage while the two Binkies are still busy sipping tea on their teacup. i have been in the US for almost 16 years, and i have been in 14 different states, and driven in many Interstates and highways but never once i see any classic mini being driven in highways or interstates, not once. the question now came to my mind, are these vtec minis really capable of highways speed??? and can withstand 80mph continuous for 8-10 hrs? like modern car does? But anyway, i used to like Vtec minis, now i dunno. But if you are ready to do the conversion, go for it.. im sure it'll work for you. good luck!
