guys, i need your help... i'm currently managing my mini's power to weight ratio, in order to do so, i need the actual total Net weight of my mini.  i dunno if this topic has already been discussed but maybe not.
My question is how do i weigh my mini? I was thinking if i put one of the front wheel on top of a weighing scale and multiply it by 2.  THEN i will do the same in the back wheel.

Formula :  one Front wheel weight x2  +  one Back wheel  weight X2 = Total Net weight.

i weigh the front and back separately because the front is more heavier than the back because of the engine...  I cannot do 1 wheel X4  ,it's not proportion.

You know what is funny. I wrote your name as Robster and my computer changed it to Rooster. My computer knows you better than I do. LOL

OK "wrong again!"
If you had followed his earlier thread, you would have learned (like I did) that there are fully programmable versions of the 123 available, where a capable person can design and create their own curve, customizable to their particular engine. That's what he is working on.
Also "wrong again" about setting the initial timing. You do need to do set it manually, but you do it with the engine off and use the built-in LED timing lights to set it exactly for top-dead-centre.

Now im confused,,,, someone on the other thread is having problem with his 123 dizzy, he said that he is unable to get the right advance curve on his 123 dizzy. He probably didnt know that the 123 distributor has 16 advances, it was advertized in their website and in youtube that it has 16 advances and you don't even need to set the timing, it will set by itself. AND i read in one article that it is the last distributor you will ever need for your car that's why it cost about $550 when it first came out.

Words of caution: the more electronics there is in a distributor or anything for that matter, the more prone it is to failure.....remember that.

And please don't be dumb to wash your mini moreso jetwash your grill...especially if you are using 123 dizzy..... i think common sense is the right term.

Tony: your avatar is supposed to relate to who you are, not who you are not. You are not project 64. And you aren't supposed to change it more times than your underwear.

Thank you Alex for bringing up the avatar question. Rooster please take down your avatar of the Project 64 car. I find it insulting to our Kiwi friends to have your name beside their car. Or at least put black tape over your name.

Nice to know that you understand the picture you've stolen for your avatar.

Appendix K Minis regularly top 120mph round Fordwater and into the first part of St Marys.  //www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=BARC/2016/161121wit.pdf

The Longman Clubman has been clocked at 123mph through the same speed trap.  //www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=BARC/2015/151221gmt.pdf

130mph is easily attainable when not constrained by race regulations, or when attempting an LSR.

I noticed on this video, why are their minis so fast??  Are they vtec minis or 1400?,,, and funny how these guys talk, i love listening to people talking with british accent, they pronounce five as "foyv" , and one guy on the video said they ran out of petrol,,, im like what is petrol??   Gas is easier to pronounce because its only one sylable.
this video btw happened on nov 5&6 somewhere in london,,, im wonderin why i didnt see our resident "union jack "guy on the video.
Maybe he's still in the US ,, in universal studio playing with Shamu  !!
