Who said that front wheel should be set at positive +3 camber???  NO!! course NOT!!   the tire will get used to it and will get deformed, the inner side of the tire will wear out faster than the outer side... even at the track, a zero camber is just fine. jeez,, where are these theories coming from??

Well, well, well !!! so i passed my exam, and it's winter, i will be hanging around here more often.

Warning...don't get pissed at me,, and as usual it's not mandatory and not required to reply to my posts. Keep bad comments to yourself pls...LOL !

Now,as previously stated a month ago, i will be concentrating on converting my mini to an automatic driven mini,NOT Zcar, NOT Hayabusa,NOT R1 engine, and definitely NOT Vtec engine(too common) . Im up for something more convenient to drive unique that can live up to modern day cars. and one thing for sure, my engine will be a quiet engine, not scandalous like the Vtec minis.... Stay tuned!!!

You know, 998cc is excellent if you're the only car on the road, but if there are other cars like mustang and camaro tailgating you, you can realy feel it's underpower-ness.

i will build a mini that no one has ever built...it's a 166Hp 16V automatic transmission ,rear engine classic mini...Nope, it's not a Zcar, not a loud ,scandalous Zcar, not even an attention seeker Vtec mini, because ALL vtec minis are manual shifting which sux, i hate shifting gears.
The engine i'm using is from a toyota SUV,  the a/c and the cruise control will be transfered to the mini as well, except the power steering mechanism.  All the measurements have been done, and so far all mounting points were mount-table, and all sides of the engine and transmission fits the rear of the mini. This mini will have the little -ness of the issigonis's mini and the convenience of a modern car.,, if you remember the Remastered mini? which costs $70 and assembled by Brown and company? The "remastered mini" is ok, but it's also a stick shift, i don't like stick shift., it's very tiring and very demanding.  These loud, manual trans Vtec engine is not in my bucketlist anymore...too common.

oh, Dang !!!   it's only now that i believed in what sir Dan said,  that mini can run 70mph.... i just tried it this morning, i did 70mph on a 55mph limit. with passenger wife and 2 bags of grocery(5kilos of rice). it's so much fun, although it made me so nervous, if the balljoint snaps for sure we will get totalled .... and my mini runs as smooth as ever.,,,now i'm really inclined in doing the Vtec conv. i want to be able to drive my mini cross country. (automatic Vtec that is,, NOT manual shift)

if your mini runs crappy, check the dashpot oil FIRST....happened to me this morning, mini drives crappy then i checked the darn dashpot, it was empty, i topped it off then it ran like an electric car, very responsive in the slight kick of the gas pedal..aww im so happy!

....So ,today will be the "World's Dashpot day"   check your dashpot altogether !!!

my mini runs great but i really have this thought in the back of my mind that the throttle shaft is giving me a bit of a leak, the shaft has a little bit of a play, i've already slapped half a teaspoon of thick grease around the leak to plug it, it works  tho but you know it's not a 100% thing. i really need to contact mr. Joe Culto to ask what we can do about it. ( i like to call him Culto, instead of Curto (",) aaaanyway!.. well my carb is a 41 year old carb, so i guess it's seen it's better days.. although someone promised to send me a HiF38 but never materialized...and another fellow promised to send me an oil cooler (with hoses,he said), and again it never materialized...i even offered to pay for the shipment from florida to Az...but ignored
