Seen at a truck stop in Colorado in the early 90s, maybe 1992?

When asked, the truck driver said they had come from some rental fleet on Catalina Island and they were on the way to a Mini salvage yard, to be scrapped for parts.  The truck was from Minnesota, maybe that's where they went.  Sorry, the guy who gave me the photos has no other details.
