I can see that it must have taken a long time to do the prep for the sealing. Your patience will show in the final product when you are done. Nice work!

I had to re-seam seal the entire car. The whole car was stripped to bare steel. The floor, door jambs, window areas & firewall were all sandblasted. It looks realy over the top because of the color contrast. I couldnt beleive how tedious seaml sealing was, especially the roof & door jambs, but its all done now

Great looking work Ryan! Just wondering about the taped off sections on the bottom? Why did you tape them off and what is coated in those places? Is it seam sealer? Henry

Thanks guys, the color is going to be a Morris color Porcelain Green, with the wood on the outside & the interior being tan leather I hope they look great together. I have also chromed the outer hinges (front & rear) for just a little bling. I'm not worried about my sheet metal, I stripped the paint all by hand, followed by a red scotch brite to get rid of any rust and then a quick once over the 80grit on my DA so the epoxy could stick.

That looks quite impressive. There's nothing like a nice coat of primer to give it a sanatary appearance. Keep up the good work. Mark

Very Nice. Like to see a good plan come together? Got an Idea on colours? or to early to tell. Now, this is nothing against you but there is a guy down the raod from me that likes to grind/sandup his sheet metal like your first two picks until he found some of his body work only as thick as tin foil by the time he finished reworking some panels. HAHA. Now he uses a thicker guage to compensate. lol People are like slinkeys; they dont really serve a purpose but you cant help laughing when one falls down the stairs.

Good stuff Ryan! I was talking to my older son today about the '61 Countryman project, which needs new steel in places. The stripped shell sits almost forlornly on a rack over the MGB. Your photos are a terrific encouragement! Rick/Hunter2 Mini friends! Mini rides!
