"Compound Ignorance - You don't know-and you don't know that you don't know"

When I Googled the 29D I found that it is an Australian Lucas distributor.  A couple of threads I found for it said that only a few parts are interchangeable with the 25D series.  One of the threads I found mentioned contacting a parts source in Australia for the original parts:

Of course, if you're not interested in originality you could pick up a used 25D4 or 45D4 distributor and replace the 29D.
