As I already have more door stops than I have doors, I think I will pass on this "deal". I appreciate all input. Thanks

ALL 1100/1300's were hydrolastic. The early ones had fixed calipers and the later ones swing calipers, (the single piston ones you refer to). The PCD of the wheel studs is 4.25" as opposed to the Mini 4". The bottom ball joint is wider than the mini one, although the top one is the same as a Mini. As se7en says, the CV's would be worth saving if you can get Cooper S brakes or 8.4 or metro. If you are still on drums the CV's are too big. Basically these brakes would make a nice couple of door stops.

And the bleed nipples are the same! I think the shorter 1100 arm is the same lenght as the longer Mini arm - I REALLY need to measure these sometime ( I have both breeds of automobile stripped down)! Martin.
My mind's made up - don't bother me with
facts!

To my recollection, the only parts of those systems that fit are the outer CV's (still a valuable piece) and one of the axles. The rest does not adapt. SE7EN

I have an opporunity to obtain a disc brake setup from an MG1100, including swivel hubs, upper and lower arms, rotors, single pot calipers, axles, backing plates, etc. for a reasonable price including multiple spares. I don't know what year it's from, but I would guess it was from a hydrolastic car due to the lack of a shock mounting. Question: Can this, or any portion, be adopted to my 62 Morris Mini. If so, would it be worthwhile? I want to make sure it stops before it goes.
Any assistance that is offered would be appreciated.
