I used bed liner spray on the sides then painted over with original paint used on the body.

I used duplicolor engine enamel. Spray can. It was easy and had a nice finish.

the engine came out quick and easy, the only thing i broke was the ground cable (and that will never happen again). now, i'm cleaning the engine bay. i'm still not sure if i give it a coat of POR15 or the rubbery pain that insulate both for noise and heat (i'm open to suggestions). i'm just painting it black for now, as the car will get a entire shell resto in a couple of years.
