If that doesn't fix it, it could be a bad coolant sensor or a relay that is sticking.

go get yourself a can of electrical contact cleaner and spray some on the brown coolant temp sensor's connector and the harness clip, then slide the two together a few times to really clean the contact surface. That should fix the problem. The ecu is not getting the coolant temp sensor signal and it runs the fan as a safety to prevent overheating. Your fueling and ignition are also slightly off from optimum as the coolant sensor plays a big part in their adjustment.

On my MPI, it seems as soon as i turn on the car, the fan comes on. It wasen't doing this before, not it seems as though its on all the time, and never turns off.

Any clues as to what it could be?
