I'm trying to remember when I used them on other cars. I think you clip them over the shaft then put the blade part on.

alrighty, silly question time. I just got some new wiper blades. they have black frames and don't fit snug over the arm like my old stainless ones. There are little u-shaped thingys that came with the blades, which I assume are to insert to make the blades fit tightly onto the arms. but how do they go in there?? I will post photos tomorrow if that doesn't make sense.
