tazio, how much did hermans magnolia clock sell for? i have one of those i removed from my rover cabby that i will sell you, works perfect. send me a pm, this silverbullet has a true history on this board, you remember i imported that car and owned it for a while until i sold it to a young fellow in DC who than sold it off to you herman. don't sell off the steering wheel as that along with the dash were exclusive to the silver bullet. if anyone is looking i believe i still have a silver bullet dash and steering wheel i removed from another car that i would sell also. at my last count a couple years ago there were more like 8 to 10 bullets here in the states, but none the less still a rare car, jim

I like the look and feel of the wood steering wheel but the wood on mine has come slightly loose from the inner aluminum struts causing it to vibrate and make noise.  Also, it is a bit hard on the hands when driving aggresively.  I need to pull it and try to epoxy the wood to the struts again but it might be nice to have a leather-wrapped Mourtney for daily driving, no?

No, don't worry, I won't every part with the wood wheel...it is a beauty.

paul, tim is absolutely right; you don't need anything else to fit the mountney wheel to your silverbullet. please remember, never, ever get rid of the original steering wheel. to the best of my knowledge there're only three known silverbullets in the states: one in texas, yours and of course mine. ops! it's still tim's (wrenchead) until it's collected tomorrow. also, should you decide to do your bodywork, look no further; call tim (wrenchhead) up.

tim buddy, please make sure to take loads of pics during to pick up. i know you've bonded with the silverbullet, but don't cry when it leaves your shop. lol!   talk soon.

taz, unfortunately the magnolia face clock was puchased with 'buy it now' and going to new york.

Hey Herman,

That Mourtney steering wheel looks nice.  Would I need anything else to fit it to a Silverbullet (ie. will the normal cover plug the center hole)?

When you decide to list you Silverbullet, I would be interested in knowing what you are asking as well.
