Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time to mark your calendars to join us for our 7th Annual Nevada City Adventure Open House, Saturday May 17th, 8am to 4pm. Some of the events planned include a swap meet, car show, prizes, and of course, great deals on the latest and coolest merchandise! Also this year we will be featuring the first ever Vtec Encounter.
Things are still going strong in the planning department but it’s all coming together quite well for the Magical Mystery Mini Tour September 5-7, 2008...
also double check that the beeld nipples are at the top!! a common mistake is to put the calipers on the wrong sides causing the nipples to be at the bottom of the caliper.
there is a few ways here is how I do it , Have some one sit in car , go to back wheel have the person just press on the pedal and follow it down and open the bleed screew , bleed it till the liquid is clear of bubbles , close the screew, if one pedal push is enough close the bleed screew and have the person re pump up the brakes and follow the pedal down as you bleed again, continue with each wheel , if after the 4 th wheel you still have soft pedal , do it again , check for liquid level once and a while , bleed into a cup and discard what you bleed out , brake fluid peels paint wipe up and spill quickly . It also helps to pump the brakes a few times between each wheel .
I have just put together the brake system on a 65 cooper after replacing the seals & hoses & pipes. The problem is I cant bleed the system, can anyone give me any tips?
