Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time to mark your calendars to join us for our 7th Annual Nevada City Adventure Open House, Saturday May 17th, 8am to 4pm. Some of the events planned include a swap meet, car show, prizes, and of course, great deals on the latest and coolest merchandise! Also this year we will be featuring the first ever Vtec Encounter.
Things are still going strong in the planning department but it’s all coming together quite well for the Magical Mystery Mini Tour September 5-7, 2008...
Yes...and marauding "traffic police" who love issuing "tickets" and holding tourists to ransom...happened to our Mayor (they actually switched the One-Way street signs to extort him on the Baja Peninsula), though I had no trouble with rented car there (San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas etc.). Take off a hubcap, dirty it up, towel hanging out from trunk lid etc. etc. LOL

We don't worry about underinsured drivers when anywhere else in Canada or in the US since a $12 annual premium gives us the full value of our coverages if struck by someone uninsured or under insured elsewhere - NOT good in Mexico.

I agree with Andy...hope the bad guys are scared but then they might just drop more hot cars into the saltchuck!
Five years ago I loaned Jeremy my Jeep and totally forgot to renew the annual licence/insurance the day after I got it back...NOT on my radar. Following police car saw the outdated sticker, pulled me over and a cab ride and $500 fine later I was insured.
Did it tick me a little, you bet. Been driving since 1959, no collisions, no claims related to my driving. But I gave up the idea of adding up the 49 years of premiums because our 12 year old who was badly disabled when hit by a pickup truck has been receiving benefits since 1986 based on our insurance cover! Not a bad part of ICBC (mandatory basic insurance provider in B.C.) at all.

Scary if you happen to not be an honest law abiding citizen , sounds good for the rest of us, as long as they use it as described in the video. Technology available today is amazing!
