That sounds much more intuitive than on a PC....maybe I'll get a Mac....
Nothing is so bad that you can't make it worse by doing something rash or going berserk.

Thanks for the input. I did find an issue with the silly mouse-overs on the buttons, that wasn't working in non-ie browsers. So I've corrected that. That could have been causing your issue. Check it out and let me know. I know this editor downloads a ton of little images (all the icons) I supose I could trim some more of that out, but then you'll loose some of the functionality. On further thought I supose we could make a 3rd option in the user profile for a slimmed down editor along with the full and plain text options.

I experienced the same annoying thing and someone told me about Safari's Develop menu (only in 10.5) to select "Disable Runaway JavaScript Timer." While you have 10.4 there's a script you can write in Terminal -- and I think it's been posted here-- or if you google it you can download a free 3rd party app like I did until I upgraded to Leopard. I think you can also enable the Debug menu to access it? Mr Bean's uncle was a machinist.

I have some slow loading issues when I want to respond to a thread but I'm running PCs with either XP or Vista. With both operating systems, clicking on reply opens the editor page VERY slowly. If you watch the bottom left corner of the screen it counts down two sets of images/objects that have to load before you can edit. There are something like 20 objects that load for the basic page and once that's done, 37 or 38 objects (apparently associated with the edit features and their icons) slowly load. This may not be what you're experiencing with the Mac but it certainly is something on this board that runs slow on my machines. Doug L.

As I'm typing this, and any reply to a topic, I get a pop up window keeps popping up that says: >>Slow Script: A script on the page "Message Board - MiniMania.com" (http://www.minimania.com/Msg_AddTopic.cfm?InfoID=1) is making Safari unresponsive. Do you want to continue running the script, or stop it? << I'm using Mac OS 10.4.11 and Safari 3.1.1 Never had the problem before...
