You cannot bleed a Fiesta caliper or for that matter any caliper upside down, you can however unbolt it, block the pads with a block of wood, wrench or whatever and rotate the caliper while it is connected to the flex hose. A bit inconvenient, but can be done.

i guess the main issue with flipping one caliper is that the bleeder might be on the bottom? i'm not sure as i've never seen a fiesta caliper, but i DID install my S calipers upside down at first, it made it impossible to bleed!

Roger Freas was a strange bird. Funny story; I was given an engine from Hank Beachy for a Ford Fiesta. It was in his first Ice Racer with Clyde Witt. The engine had been overheated several times, and was nearing the end of it's life, but still had MASSIVE power for a Fiesta motor. I drove it for a year or so, then traded the engine to Roger Freas for a set of wheels and tires.
Years later people started asking around for the engine, namely the head. Ends up, Hank borrowed the head from his Lotus Seven. Roger was no where to be found, but had a shelf of trophies from his 'stock' Fiesta running HS in autocross.
Never know what you have if you don't know your stuff.
I bought and sold Fiesta parts with Roger for years as a kid. Sorry to hear the graveyard is empty, but I can only assume it is elsewhere, not just gone.
Last I knew, Roger had two Fiestas under 10k miles. He also had the imported XR2 with 13s and square headlights.
A quick Google search showed that he ran in the Michigan Ice Racing Association in Feb of 2008. MIRA was started by Hank I believe.

So, the double left is not a good idea? I highly doubted it was, just wanted to be sure. "22's? Shee, i be creepin on 10's gangsta. Bentley? real ballas drive minis" (real life first response of my best friend seeing my mini)

I think all those Fiestas that used to be parked by the interstate near Plainwell MI are gone. I'll be driving by there in the AM and I'll let you know. There's a Roger Freas listed in Kalamazoo, MI

if you care to dig, there is a guy in Plainwell Michigan by the name of Roger Freas. (Pretty sure of the spelling). He has the corner on the Ford Fiesta market. Last I knew, he had 25-30 Fiestas. His house was almost unpenetrable due to boxes of parts. I will GUARANTEE he has the parts you want, in one condition or another. Tell him Mark Looman told you to contact him, he will know who it is. Or mention my dad Dave Looman.

Hi, As most of you who will respond to this already know, I am doing a fiesta brake conversion. I bought 1 right and 1 left caliper with mounting brackets. I thought everything was cool. Got 1 caliper in the mail (left). Never got the right one. They refunded me and said the right one was out of production. Looked a couple of places and it seems that none of the online parts stores has a right caliper for a MK1 ford fiesta (1977-1980) with a mounting bracket. A friend of mine said I could use 2 front lefts and either make banjo fitting on the right (as the brake hose fitting would be upside down. Another suggestion was to buy two front lefts with brackets and then buy a right without a bracket and use bracket from the left for the right. Are you confused cause I am. Are either of these options feasible? I really don't want to buy three calipers for a GD brake conversion but there it is. thanks in advance. -Stephen "22's? Shee, i be creepin on 10's gangsta.
