Coming down from the Slolicum Creek hanging valley on the east side of Harrison Lake one time we found a NEW Ford 4x4 pickup truck with two wheels on the rocks 10 feet off the road and a stump under the upright truck with a +200' tumble over refrigerator sized boulders. That stump saved the lives of the driver and passengers. That old logging road from the late 50's is now closed, grown over. I don't know if they ever got the truck out. I swear, there is a higher percentage of dummies driving pickup trucks than any other type of vehicle...except maybe the tandem dump trucks flying around the Lower Mainland - had an empty setup "race" me on the Lougheed Highway today, just let the silly bastard go....
