Being an international sort ;-), I'll take the currency in US dollars, Canadian dollars, British Sterling, or Euros. Whatever works for you! Bill

I doubt it--aren't the Loons worth more than a buck nowadays?

Yes Hugh, but the person might also leave an envelope on the windscreen with 10 crisp $100.00 bills in it (not) BIG AL

Bill, If you mount it on the Mini to go to Carlisle, please make sure and take it off and put inside the car once you arrive. They come off much too easy to park in a large car park where you won't be back for hours. Not saying that it would go missing, but the potential is there.

I looked for months for one of these; found one in the UK, bought it ($$$), had it shipped here ($$$), then had it professionally restored and powdercoated white ($$$)... selling my MK1 Cooper S before it was finished. My wife doesn't like it on my MKIII Mini: http://fnader.com/Mini.htm (this is before restoration), I don't anticipate having another MK1 S anytime soon, so I'm offering it up for sale. I have a lot in it and am not willing to take a loss (because I'm likely to have another MK1 S at some point) but if you're in the market for one, drop me a line. It includes the original 4 feet as pictured (could stand to be replaced), 2 tiedowns (not powdercoated), and two tire hold-downs (not pictured and also not powdered). Since I hate people posting stuff without prices but don't really want to hear about how overpriced it is, let's just say it would be under $1000 shipped anywhere in the US. How far under we can discuss offline. I will be at Import Carlisle and could easily bring it with me... in fact I may mount it on the car... Thanks! Bill
