I've seen the smart car crash tests, I'd love to see the crash tests of some of the Chinese copies.

I wonder if they'll have an "S" version or a copy of a JCW edition with equal performance figures?! Hahahaha

You could easily put 24 CKD Mokes in a 40 ft container. I have put 8 full size running driving Minis in one, and Mokes (taken apart) would take up much less space.

Dear Sir, .... and so on. I keep getting e-mail offers to become a Canadian dealer for Chinese Mokes. Engine technology copied from Suzuki. They say that in a CKD delivery - 24 units can be sent in a single 40 foot container! Check out http://www.machine-big.com Joe

That can not be a copy of the 'BMW' Mini. It does not have the Beer Can exhaust tip. Quack. Quack. Orange Cream soda. Shaken, not stirred. Served with a side of melted peanut butter toast.

That'd be a pretty nice A-Series. Wonder if the head fits! I remember seeing the Mini copy on the board before. A Daihatsu maybe? I kinda like those. The Lifan is ugly as sin! Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything. Charles Kuralt Autox/Rallyx Videos

It says it has a 1.3 liter engine, so maybe they copied an A series engine for power.

There are tons of these things driving around Japan. Same thing, 4 door mini knockoff, but for the Classic Mini.

all of the lifan stuff is copied though the motorcycles use honda motors. it looks smaller than the bmw mini so maybe its more mini? haha one for the history books if u could get your hands one one and put it away. might be worth some money if theres a big hoohaa and not many get made? whats the motor a copy of? People are like slinkeys; they dont really serve a purpose but you cant help laughing when one falls down the stairs.

BMW's theory: Why create history when you can buy it! Chinese theory: Why buy history when you can copy it for free! http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/18/lifan-320-mini-ripoff-to-debut-at-beijing/
