Big Al!! Welcome back!!! Glad to see you're recouping and back on the board.

If you're ever down in the Amherstburg area give me a ring and stop on by for a cold one. I'll pm you my number.

My parents wish you well, as they were asking about you last time I was home. Lot's of excitement there (caledon) with developers trying to bully my mom and council. Dad got followed and threatend by two individuals then came home last tues to someone running up behind him and punching him in the face. It's been in the papers all last week. Not good.

Jeff.

Dave,

We should get together one of these days, as I'd like to check out your mini. I saw 2 mini's on Saturday in Lasalle, a nice shiny blue one, and a purple one.

Is MOWOG still in operation?? what's going on with the Windsor mini club scene these days as I can't find any sites or info on the web. jeff

Found this pic yesterday when I was cleaning the basement with my dad and getting things organized for the move.

It's from early summer 1999 when I was building my mini. My friend and the individual that owns the h1 are in the pic.

Don,

Thanks, picked the motor up on the way back last Sunday. My dad met me there and we loaded it up onto the trailer.  I'm taking it to Windsor next weekend for when we get the house, where I can clean it up and better inspect its condition.

Once my mini is out of the garage my dad will be able to finish the restoration on his.

The seats look great in my mini by the way.

I wanted to go to Princess Auto and found out it moved, so I ended up at the New location after driving around, and from there it took me about 30mins to get back on the QEW was the exit I got off to get to the shop. What a pain!!!

Coach House with bathroom and heat????  Awesome!  She will see you...what....once a month or so?  Looks like it's also far enough that you'll have to drive the Mini to the auto barn from the main house.   Enjoy...jealous

Mini....and then there were none......keep the legacy alive!

Thanks guys!! I can't wait.

You're right Big Al, Thanks for the correction!!! And no that's long gone, and it's good because I wouldn't of met this one!!! Now she's a keeper!!!  I'm sure you'll get to meet her soon enough, as my mini should be up and running like a top just in time for winter, so I'll be making the rounds to the regular events now. Thanks for the heads up on the Tillsonberg meet!! I'll have to go to it on my way back from Windsor to Toronto.

I'm still working in Toronto until the right job comes around.

The garage or as I call it "coach house" has it's own seperate furnace, bathroom and is fully insulated so keeping it warm isn't an issue!!!

I've attached a pic of the house!! It will be like vacation all year at the cabin!! lol

Two points-

1/ That l believe would be South and west-

2/And would that be the same blonde g/f that used to drive everybody nuts at mini car shows (the nurse) ?

In any event good luck- BTW, Brit car parts swap meet at Tillsonburg, Ontario on Sunday the 18th of November-Not that far from your new digs-

Congrats.  A garage like that should make the long winters much more bearable - if you can keep it warm.  That garage would certainly sway my view of any prospective house purchase, I tell you.  Very nice.
