From the original MME'08 thread, the Jordan Grand Resort number is 800-207-2365. Event code for special room rates is 84K3XN. Reservation and deposit information is all there. http://www.minimania.com/web/threadid/86688/InfoID/1/SiteMessages/32/msgthread.cfm

Thanks Howard. So we'll be looking at booking rooms for Wednesday night, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. The host hotel seems to want to charge a large deposit on a credit card, which is why Alex, Jim & I were working out actual number of nights required. What a good idea to run a simple extra event (dress up your Mini & RC) whilst the autocross is still going on! The whole schedule looks really good actually; something for everyone right through the event.

Okay...here's an update and a tentative schedule from NEMO's Faith Lamprey at MME/08 HQ: We suggest folks get there on the 2nd as we plan to start activities Wednesday night, but the Wednesday night and Thursday morning activities are not the standard ones so can be viewed as optional. Here is the latest agenda discussed at the last meeting.

Alex...unless someone from NEMO jumps in here with info, email me and I'll put you in touch with one of the organizers who can answer your question. In fact, I'll send her this thread so she can provide a clarification. If all else fails however, just book the maximum number of room nights you think you'll possibly need and you can always back it down from that after more specific schedule information is provided by the host club.

We're in the process of reserving rooms etc for MME next year, and I'm being blonde...
The show would appear to be from the 3rd-6th July, but the website says get there on the 2nd.
Does anyone know if it has been extended to a 4 day meet ? The last couple of years have effectively been 2 day meets for those not doing the autocross, and it makes a big difference in hotel bills to go from 3 nights to 5... Metric is for people who can't do fractions.
