   I login, but I still Can't post a message
   I never got my password via E-Mail What did I do wrong?
   I get a Error saying that my E-Mail Address is already in use
   I get a Error saying that my Screen Name is already in use
 

Overview:
To create a new user account, you first have to request a new login. You do this by going to the page: Request New Login. Type in the Screen Name and Password You wish to use. Screen name is the name that you will be known as on the system, and you can also use this name to login to the system, so make it something you can remember, and you want other people to see. Password is your secret code that is required to login to your account, make it something you can remember but not easy to guess. 
Next you need to enter your E-Mail address. This should be your full internet E-Mail address. For Example: Fred@MyISP.com  --- Make sure you include your full address, AOL, Prodigy, and some other services let you leave off the 'domain' (ie. aol.com') you must include it here. For example, if you are using AOL, your internet e-mail address would be 'screenname@aol.com' (without the 'quotes') NOT just 'screenname@aol', the .com must be there too. You can use your email address or your screen name as your login id.
Now, Click on the button that says 'Request New Login' This sends an activation message to the E-Mail account you entered above. So Go check your E-Mail at this point. Depending on the speed of your mail server, you should get a e-mail containing your Screen Name, Password, and an Activation link to enable your new user account. The activation process is a security mesure to verify your E-Mail. Note that the E-Mail does get sent right away, but depending on where you are located, and the speed of your mail server, it may take time for your activation message to arrive in your mailbox.
Once you have activated your acount, you can login by going to: 'The Login' page. Enter your Screen Name and password.
At This point you will be logged in and able to post messages. Make sure you save the activation E-Mail because it contains your Screen name and password in case you forget.

Forgot Your Password?:
It happens to all of us. We get old, we can't remember things like we used to. But this is a easy fix! Assuming you still remember your login name or your e-mail address, just goto the Re-E-Mail me my Password page and simply type in your Screen Name or e-mail address. you will then recieve an E-mail containing your user information. in.
 
 

Troubleshooting:                                                                  

I login, but I still Can't post a message:
The most common problems, are cookies, and Javascript. A lot of people turn these off, and from what I have seen, AOL turns them off be default. So the first thing you should check is your settings/preferences. To find out how to check your settings Click on the Browser link list at the top of this page.

Firewalls: If you're running a personal firewall software package on your system such as Norton Firewall, Black Ice, Zone Alarm or McAfee Firewall, make sure you are allowing all cookies, javascript from this site. Failing to do so will result in error and prevent you from posting messages.

The Editor: If you continue to have problems with posting replies to messages, try going into your user profile and changing the default editor to 'STANDARD' rather than the WYSIWYG editor. You will loose some function, such as formatted text, but you should be able to post. There are know issues with the MAC as well as older Netscape browsers (any OS) and the WYSIWYG editor. By switching to the Standard Editor you will by-pass this issue.

I never got my activation E-Mail What did I do wrong?:
If you never got activation E-mail message, you probably typed your e-mail address in wrong. You can try again using a different Screen Name and try entering your e-mail address in again. If you get an error saying that e-mail address is already in use, and it is correct, e-mail the Webmaster and we'll see if we can help you out.
If the system accepts your request, then you entered your e-mail address wrong the first time, check your mail and see if you get an activation message.

When I try and request a new Login I get a Error saying that my E-Mail Address is already in use:
You Can not create more than one account off of a single e-mail address. If you haven't create a account yet, and are still getting this error, e-mail the Webmaster and we'll help you out.

When I try and request a new Login I get a Error saying that my Screen Name is already in use:
This is bound to happen. Each Screen Name must be unique. Try picking a different Screen Name or adding a '1' at the end of it.
