Knocking Noise from Front Axle

SITUATION
The customer may report a knocking noise from the front axle which occurs when driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces.

CAUSE
Incorrect sway bar bushings fitted for the front sway bar.

CORRECTION
On a customer complaint basis, check the front sway bar bushings for a gap between the bushings and the sway bar itself. If any visible gap exists, replace the sway bar bushings.
