EBC GREENSTUFF pads are performance street pads that produce LESS DUST than the factory pads while offering improved braking performance. Compatible with MINI brake wear sensors.
Premium street sport pad for cars up to 200bhp.
Ceramic/Kevlar fiber material.
General spirited street driving.
Designed for premium street driving offering better brake effect up to 600°C (1100°F). EBC Greenstuff has a high initial brake effect and gives drivers confidence from first application of the brake pedal. There is no such thing as a NO DUST pad. The very nature of how a brake works requires that some dust be generated to avoid rotor vibration (shimmying). The EBC pad creates less dust and dust is more easily washed off than most. All pads create more dust as they are bedding in especially if rotors are worn. Nominal friction coefficient 0.55.
These pads are coated with 'BRAKE-IN SURFACE COATING'.
[ ] Effective immediately after installation.
[ ] Conditions rotor surface.
[ ] Prevents early life noise.
[ ] Helps pads bed-in fast.
NOTE:
Brakes are a safety critical part of your vehicle and should be installed by a competent mechanic following vehicle manufacturers installation procedure. The surface of these brake pads is coated with a red coating known as BRAKE-IN. This coating helps your newly installed brake pads to 'seat' or bed-in quickly. However, pads should be used gently for the first 100 miles until optimum braking is observed. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor).
Follow manufacturers instructions for 'bedding in' new pads.
Not for track use.
The entire green range is approved to ECE R90 for highway use.
If your Brake Wear Warning light is illuminated, you need to replace the brake wear sensor, see G2NMB2020
If you need to replace the set screw that holds the rotor in place, see NMB7603.
See ATE Super Blue to upgrade your MINI's brake fluid. ATE® Super Blue DOT 4 Racing Brake fluid is an ideal choice for handling the high demands placed on your MINI's brake system, regardless of whether you are involved in autocross, road racing or high performance street driving.
ATE® Super Blue has a dry boiling point of 536F and a wet boiling point of 396F which far exceeds standard brake fluids meeting the DOT 4 requirements. This fluid is NOT SILICONE and is compatible with conventional brake fluid. 100% synthetic fluid is specifically designed to resist the high temperatures of racing brakes and yet very suitable for daily driving.
