STAGE 5 BRAKE UPGRADE KIT BREMBO - R50/52/53 COOPER & S

The Stage 5 Brembo Big Brake upgrade kit gives your MINI Cooper & MINI Cooper S incredible 'race ready' stopping power (Designed for MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S models built after April '03). Brembo is synonymous with performance brakes, and is the choice for most high end exotics; this Big Brake kit features their Gran Turismo Big Brake kit and Brembo Sport drilled rear rotors for either your MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S. The deceleration under hard braking is simply amazing. We've never experienced any brake fade, even at high speed on road courses on either the MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S.

The Brembo Gran Turismo Big Brake System for the MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S is designed to improve brake performance with increased stopping power, drastically reduced brake fade, with less weight than factory setup. The system consists of a two-piece 320 x 28mm vented and cross-drilled racing rotor with a 4 piston high performance caliper. The 2-piece rotor system employs an aluminum hat creating a "floating disc" which reduces heat related stress and improves brake performance and pedal feel. Proper 'Bed-In' procedure must be followed for proper brake performance.

Included is ATE Super Blue performance brake fluid to top it off.

This kit will require 17" wheels (or larger) with enough caliper clearance to clear the spokes.

BEFORE ORDERING, check the Brembo Template for wheel fitment - add 3mm of tolerance around the caliper for actual wheel fitment.
