OEM OIL FILTER, FILTER WRENCH, DRAIN PLUG KIT - COOPER & S

Now you can do routine oil changes on your own 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 MINI Cooper S, and for the 2005-2008 R52 MINI Convertibles. This convenient kit includes a hard-to-find 3/8" drive coil filter housing socket (see NME1051, two new oil drain plugs with gaskets (see NME1052), and two genuine BMW MINI Cooper & S oil filters (see NME1050).

Remember to use sythetic motor oil. MINI recommends 5W-40 or 5W-30 FULL SYNTHETIC motor oil.

Note: Filter housing socket may be chrome OR black vanadium finish depending on supply.

Tighten the drain plug and the oil filter to 25 Nm (18 ft-lb). Start the engine and check for oil pressure. Don't forget to check for leaks too!
