Oil Catch Can

If your've taken off your Mini Cooper S intercooler you know how much sludge buildup is inside. Guess what gets filtered back into your engines intake only to lower your engines performance? The oil and water vapor that is created by the engine during operation is vented through the PCV valve back into the intake air stream. This sludge is then circulated back into the engine to be burned off. Damaging performance and fuel economy by reducing your fuel's octane and causing the computer to retard ignition as well as increasing carbon build up.

These oil catch cans stop sludge before it accumulates in the intercooler connecting pipes, hoses and sensors making them inefficient. Using an oil catch can allows the oil to be captured instead of being routed through the intake system.

Unlike other systems for the MINI Cooper S, ours does not use a large piece of silicone hose as the main oil catch can. The oil catch can use's a one-piece stainless steel tank assuring no leaking sludge. The unit also features a drain plug on the bottom for easy clean up of the accumulated oil. It also has a breather filter on top of the can for superior performance.

Kit Includes: High quality polished stainless steel catch tank. A large 1" top mounted breather filter. Hardware also includes routing hoses and mounting bracket.

NOTE: if you regularly take your MINI to the track or race it you need this product. Racing and track use doubles oil vapor production in the engine!
