The QuickSilver team has engineered the 'Sports' system's internal design to allow the volume and flow to increase in proportion with rpm. This provides the engine with a deeper tone at low engine speeds rising to a unique, higher pitched and crisper exhaust note at higher rpm.

Attention to detail has always been a hallmark of QuickSilver products and this is no exception. Using Type 304 austenitic stainless steel, the pipes are mandrel bent to keep a constant internal diameter throughout the length ensuring an even flow of exit gases.

Now for the volume which concerns most including me, the system does not drone inside, I have not lost any hearing due to any loudness. To say the sound is "bearable" is somewhat of an insult because the sound itself is very refined and predictable. It's something I can go around the streets with late at night and not wake people up, just what I wanted. The difference in tone and volume is particularly different in the low to low-mid range (2k-4000 rpm), it is a lot deeper. Exactly at 2000rpm's, the sound is deep and loud, but only if you hold it at 2k rpm's (also matters how hot the exhaust is). In the mid-range, the sound is very nice and volume is quite low, it is a nice mix between hearing both the SC whine from the bonnet and the exhaust from the rear going WOT. The top end seems to have gained the most acceleration naturally from what I noticed today, and the exhaust sounds very Sick. It has a beast-like hissing sound to it. Me and my cousin just looked at each other when we were going all out, haha, we are impressed. The only time I have heard a sound like this with the stock system was on a 3 hour rally in the canyons and the exhaust must have been extremely hot. Now you can feel the gasses rushing under you, very powerful feeling.
