STOPTECH BIG BRAKE KIT RED - MINI COOPER AND S

In performance driving you can spend as much time with your foot on the brake as you do on the gas (at least in a Solo event) in either your MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S. While the stock MINI Cooper brakes are impressive for most street applications it does not take much performance driving before you note the need for better brakes on either your 2002 - 2006 AND 2007+ MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S. This Stoptech large 4 piston Big Brake system provides some REAL brakes for real performance! Front Big Brake kit includes rotors, calipers, brake lines and brake pads. 12.9" slotted rotors with four piston calipers, stainless steel brake lines, and high performance street pads for both the MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S. Minimum 17 inch aftermarket wheels with adequate caliper clearance required - use template below to check clearance with your wheels.

Powder coated BLACK, RED, or SILVER. Also available with drilled rotors in Silver. See NMB2015 for matching rear rotors.

Fits 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Convertibles.

We recommend ATE Super Blue brake fluid with this kit. ATE® Super Blue DOT 4 Racing Brake fluid is an ideal choice for handling the high demands placed on your MINI's brake system, regardless of whether you are involved in autocross, road racing or high performance street driving.

ATE® Super Blue has a dry boiling point of 536F and a wet boiling point of 396F which far exceeds standard brake fluids meeting the DOT 4 requirements. This fluid is NOT SILICONE and is compatible with conventional brake fluid. 100% synthetic fluid is specifically designed to resist the high temperatures of racing brakes and yet very suitable for daily driving.
