The DS3000 racing pads provide outstanding braking performance under all conditions. Unlike many materials, the performance characteristics of DS3000 provide predictable braking and pedal feel. From low speeds to high speeds, from cold start to a scorching 750degC, DS3000 maintains a constant high coefficient which guarantees exceptional fade resistance and consistent bite. The main characteristics are: + Reduced bedding-in time (approx. 50% quicker than other materials). + Extremely high friction level (0,62 coefficient of friction) at any termperature or speed. + Higher intial bite. + Predictability, in all conditions, when braking into the corner because of the flat friction curve. + Less off-brake between the brake pedal and throttle. WARNING: DS3000 is not suitable for road use.

MINI recommends the brake fluid be replaced every 2 years, more often if you track your car. See ATE Super Blue for replacement brake fluid. ATE Super Blue is a high quality performance fluid that will last much longer than the standard DOT4 fluid. This is an ABS friendly fluid.
