This Stoptech large 4 piston with 12.9" rotor Big Brake system provides some REAL brakes for real performance! Updated for the 2007+ models.
In performance driving you can spend as much time with your foot on the brake as you do on the gas (at least in a Solo event). While the stock MINI brakes are impressive for most street applications it does not take much performance driving before you note the need for better brakes.
Big Brake Kits give your MINI that Supercar look and feel, and exceed stock performance in two areas. First, larger rotors increase heat capacity. Second, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance.
The Stoptech Front Big Brake kit includes 12.9" slotted rotors with four piston calipers, stainless steel brake lines, and high performance street pads for both the MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S. Minimum 17 inch aftermarket wheels with adequate caliper clearance required - use template below to check clearance with your wheels.
Available in Slotted or Drilled rotors with Black or Red Calipers - select from the pull-down menu.
For Track Use: black is best, red is acceptable. Other caliper colors may experience significant color change due to the extreme temperatures.
