MINI COOPER IPOD INTERFACE KIT - COOPER AND S

A perfect marriage of music and MINI, the iPod Interface from BMW offers a seamless sonic experience to any motorer who will listen. Technically speaking, it delivers uncompromised sound quality and constant power through a connection in the glovebox that creates a direct link to your MINI's audio system, giving you and co-pilots even greater control over your music library.

Once your iPod is connected, your audio system becomes a literal extension of the player itself, allowing you to play Master of Music using the multi-function steering wheel or radio controls. Which means you can sort music by playlist, artist, album, genre and podcast, not to mention make any selection from the music library.

The interface is compatible with any iPod equipped with a dock connector -including fourth and fifth generation models, as well as the iPod Mini and iPod Nano. So just plug, and Play.

Installation is described as a 1.25 hour process and requires partial removal of the dash trim and instrument cluster AND coding by the dealer to enable the retrofit kit.

For US Market 2007+ R56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hardtops and 2008+ R55 MINI CLUBMAN. Not compatible with non-US MINIs.

Does NOT fit 2002-2006 Models.
