Braselton, Ga.: Robbie Davis and the MINI of Charleston Racing Team returned to the famous Road Atlanta race course to claim another SCCA South East Divisional National Series win, winning his third national of the season and second at Road Atlanta. Davis now has four straight wins at the 2.54 mile road course. The win puts Robbie only 3 points behind SEDiv Showroom stock “B” points leader Mike Scoranavachi. With only three races remaining before the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in Topeka, Kansas, it is still up in the air as to which of the two will head to the televised championship with the South East Division SSB Champion title. The battle resumes at Roebling Road Raceway in Pooler, Ga. on the July 4^th weekend.

Davis will be moving from the British BMW product (MINI) to the German BMW product as a co-driver in the 12 Hours at the Point Race at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia, June 14^th. Rob will be co-driving with Jeff Lucas in a BMW 330, sponsored by Piper Motorsports. It will be Davis’ first experience in an endurance race longer than 2.5 hours and his first turn at the wheel at night. But Rob’s ability to quickly adjust to different cars, changing driving conditions and smooth driving style should do well for his endurance team. Rob won his SCCA National in his MINI at Summit in May.
