These solid Heim joint control arms are a must-have for serious performance driving for track days and autocross competition. The solid Heim joints eliminate any play induced by the stock rubber or poly bushings - this means precise suspension geometry is maintained during transisions for maximum control!
Available as 2 or 4 arm kits. When replacing 2 control arms, the adjustable arms allow camber adjustment, but will also have a small effect with the toe-in at the same time. For full independent adjustment of camber and toe-in, you need to replace all 4 control arms with adjustable arms.
Recommended for track use but can be used for street driving - see NOTE below.

This Rear Control Arm Set consists of weld-free adjustable control arms, pre-assembled with high quality oversize heim joints and threaded for quick and accurate full adjustment of rear toe and camber. Weldless construction includes flat wrench notch for easy adjustability.
When replacing two control arms, the adjustable arms allow camber adjustment, but will also affect the toe-in at the same time. For full independent adjustment of camber and toe-in, you need to replace all 4 control arms with adjustable arms.
'Toe-in' means the front edges of the two rear or front tires are angled inward toward each other, with 'toe out' being the inverse. While severe amounts of incorrect toe and/or camber will result in unwanted tire wear, a small amount of toe change in the rear can make the car turn-in more predicatable.
'Camber' is the amount of tilt the tire has top to bottom. Negative camber, with the tire tops angled inward relative to the bottom, will increase the cornering ability.
The lack of rubber bushing makes these control arms very precise. However, solid Heim Joint (Pillow Ball Rod End) may generate some knocking noises as the arm rotates when going over bumps on the street. This is 'normal' for this product.
On MINIs with the optional Xenon Headlights - there is a 'level sensor' used by the Xenon Headlights that attaches to the Drivers side Upper Rear Control Arm - these Adjustable Control Arms do not have accommodations for attaching this sensor. Most customers simply us a couple of standard 'hose clamps' to affix the sensor to this arm.
