Aftermarket replacement Cabin Air Filter for your 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 MINI Cooper S, and for your 2005-2008 R53 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertibles.
The air in urban areas contains large quantities of dust, pollen, soot and other particles, as well as gases which are harmful to health. More and more people are suffering from allergies and are increasingly aware of the subject of air conditioning and cabin filters. As a result, more vehicles leave the factory already fitted with cabin air filters.
Cabin Air Filters remove virtually all pollen and other unwanted particles, as well as harmful gases (combi-filters) from the air, thus ensuring a better atmosphere inside the vehicle. This is particularly important for children and people suffering from allergies and/or asthma. Cabin filters are highly regarded by worldwide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as an important component in their vehicles.
Take control today by filtering those unwanted and harmful particles from the air you breathe.
The cabin microfilter is located on the right side of the heater and air conditioning housing, behind the glove compartment. MINIs with manual air condintioners have screws holding the cover in place. In MINIs with automatic air conditioners, the cover is held in place by clips - simply pull straight down.
See NMI6002 for the original factory replacement cabin filter.
