Performance "Street Pads" by Ferodo for the Brembo Gran Turismo Big Brake System for the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S. These are the same pads that originally came with your Big Brake Kit which are very suitable for street use and occasional track use. Slightly higher temperature range when compared to the Brembo Ceramic Streets.

Brembo ST42 Ceramic Track Pads. While standard pads installed on the Brembo Big Brake kit are fine for street use, they are quickly consumed when put to the track on both the MINI Cooper and the MINI Cooper S. These BREMBO ceramic pads are specially formulated to work under a wide temperature range. Designed for the track, these pads work optimally when heated. These pads are more abrasive when cold and can accelerate wear on your rotos if used on the street for normal street driving.

Brembo Ceramic Street Pads. Low dust characteristics make these an excellent choice for spirited street driving and occasional track use. Works just as well when hot or cold. Slightly lower heat range when compared to the Performance Street.

Porterfield R4-S Carbon Kevlar High Performance Street and Autocross - For high performance and heavy-duty street conditions. Perfect for prolonged everyday street use while also being capable of tolerating the most severe street use without any fade. Rotor friendly of course. The R4-S friction level will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum pedal effort. R4-S compound has the absolute lowest noise and dust levels, far below OEM equipment or any other high performance brake material. Good for autocrossing, some drivers schools, solo events, and rally’s. These pads are very rotor friendly and will last as long as your stock pad, but typically they last a little bit longer.

Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years, more often if you track your MINI. For High Performance Brake Fluids, see the following:
