Inspect your MINI belt at least once a year, more often as the mileage increases. If you see any signs of cracking on the inside (ribbed) surface - replace the belt!

2008-04/2010 R55 MINI Cooper and Cooper S CLUBMAN
2009-04/2010 R57 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible

Inspect this belt every couple oil changes WITH THE ENGINE OFF. If therea are any signs of wear, cracking, glazing, or missing sections, REPLACE IMMEDIATELY.

To reduce the chance of belt failure, replace belt every 4 years or less.
