MINI Factory replacement Vacuum Pump for the Mini Cooper and Cooper S with N12 / N14 or N16 /N18 engines.

The MINI Vacuum pump mounts on the side of the cylinder head and is driven off the exhaust camshaft. Often a source of a rattle during start-up, the real danger comes when they seize up resulting in broken valves.

Not difficult to replace and worth replacing given the disastrous results of a frozen pump.

Vacuum Pump application varies depending on the engine. O-ring available separately as well.  Select accordingly.

Tightening torque
Vacuum pump to cylinder head (M6):  10 Nm or 7.4 ft-lbs or 88.5 INCH-lbs

MINI Factory OEM replacement O-Ring for the Vacuum Pump on the N12 and N14 engines. This is the O-Ring that goes between the Vacuum Pump and the Cylinder Head. 56 x 2.75mm
