Carbotech™ XP10™ (1110™) Race Pads

When Carbotech unleashed the XP10™ to the general public, and it was an instant success, gathering multiple regional, divisional, and national championships. The XP10™ is a very high initial bite friction material, with a coefficient of friction and rotor friendliness unmatched in the industry. Recommended for the serious track car running R compound race tires. These pads are slotted for the factory brake wear sensor.

Pads can also be ordered 'pre-bedded', where the bedding in procedure is done for you. Look for the 'Bedded' option in the Image List below or to the right.

Fits the following models:

2007-2013 R56 Mini Cooper and Cooper S Hatchback
2008-2014 R55 Mini Cooper and Cooper S Clubman
2009-2015 R57 Mini Cooper and Cooper S Convertible
2011-2016 R60 Mini Cooper and Cooper S Countryman (see note below)
2013-2016 R60 Mini Cooper and Cooper S Paceman (see note below)

Note: The Countryman uses the 'Cooper S Front' pads for Countryman Cooper and Countryman Cooper S (and ALL4) models. The rear pads (unslotted) are unique and listed separately in the Image List below or to the right.

Fade resistance is in excess of 1650°F. Due to the high level of friction and bite, this material is recommended for cars weighing around 2,000lbs or more, not including formula cars and cars with brake bias bars weighing less than 2,000lbs.

This is the preferred compound for the front of Spec Miata racers, SSC,SSB, T3, SRF, ITS, ITE, H1,H2, H3, H4, 944 Cup, ST, GS, Factory Five Cobra's and many more Grand-Am/ALMS/SCCA/NASA classes. XP10™ is also ideal for advanced/instructor level HPDE drivers.

XP10™ still maintains the highly praised release and excellent modulation, rotor friendliness, and 100% non-corrosive dust that have made all Carbotech compounds so successful.

XP10™ is not recommended as a daily-driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise.

Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years. See ATE Performance Brake Fluid for replacement brake fluid. ATE Type 200 Amber is a high quality performance fluid that will last much longer than the standard DOT4 fluid. This is an ABS friendly fluid.

ATE® Type 200 Amber Fluid has a dry boiling point of 536F and a wet boiling point of 396F which far exceeds standard brake fluids meeting the DOT 4 requirements. This fluid is NOT SILICONE and is compatible with conventional brake fluid. 100% synthetic fluid is specifically designed to resist the high temperatures of racing brakes and yet very suitable for daily driving.
