It was a long time ago now. I was just after a manifold as I have so many MGB HS 4 as well as MGB HIF 38 s. I don't think I had pay pal back then either. Steve (CTR)

Thanks Steve but I just sold our Spitfire last month and got rid of an extra TR 1300 engine six months ago. I still have an extra Spitfire frame, tub, bonnet, doors... etc to get rid of myself!
Out of curiosity, what were the guys in the U.K. asking for the dual HS4 setup with all the bits?

Hey Doug, I have located a couple of twin 1 1/2 set ups in the UK but the deals have fallen though when shipping time came. Does not matter as I sold the diff today and will crush the balance. Push comes to shove sometimes. If you want I will pull engine and tranny and give it to you. My storage situation is out of hand. Thanks Steve (CTR)

No harm Steve.
I don't have the twin carb setup, I have two single Stromberg setups.

I got a crazy deal on an entire (disassembled) MG 1500 motor and transmission. EVERYTHING is there from my assessment including TWO carb/intake sets, TWO sets of pistons and TWO distributors including a brand new electronic one with plug wires.
The guy bought a house that had a neatly stored pile of parts in the pole barn. New owner drives a Highlander. I needed a starter for the mini and what luck, there were TWO in there.
I don't have any need for the engine/trans. I would love for someone (near) to take it if they need it. The Midget I have is a 1275 and thanks to DKLawson I know it isn't a plug and play. I also now know it's a Triumph motor that MG sourced to hit emissions.
