Bob Overdorff, who works at D J minis is your man in Wesley Chapel FL,

Bob is retired but still keeps his hand in it, he would look at that rats nest of wires as anyone else would look at a gorgeous buffet at a top end restaurant

Not cheap but who is ?

There are a couple of names that come to mind. I'm sure when they wake up they will contact you. Steve (CTR)

Have read enough here to know that it helps to have a healthy sense of humor. I bought this Californian from a clever guy who pried it away from some rich folks that bought it in St Bart's possibly new. They brought it home to Florida and left it in a garage 20 plus years. He recognized the value did just enough work to get running and sold to me me what I am sure was a very healthy profit. I am enjoying my new ride driving about the southetnmost city until I experience a few electrical issues that cause the vehicle to suddenly stop or not start. After a somewhat dangerous situation of it dying and having to push it off a major boulevard I realize I need to find the problem and get a tuneup as well. I drive to a friends shop expecting a short visit only to have to tow it out of there a month later with the whole electrical system in pieces. I had planned on finding someone competent somewhere here in the Sunshine State to do a minor restoration including paint, new seats , dash , accessories etc. Now that it is in pieces it is more urgent. Morrow of this story don't have friends that don't know Mokes work on your car. The car is in all original condition no rust and was in very good shape and still is except for the rats nest of wire strewn about. I am looking for some recommendation on a shop that is qualified and not overly expensive. My goal is to have a reliable everyday car where my commute is less than a mile. Any and all help suggestions will be appreciated. ( I will figure out how to attach picture of my Royal Blue Southernmost Moke)
